Abhimanyu Arora, Leadership Coach
My name is Abhimanyu Arora, and I am a PCC coach and an accredited mentor coach. My purpose for taking the NLP Practitioner and then the Master Practitioner program was slightly different. Specifically, my intention was to integrate about 1200 hours of paid coaching experience with around two decades of corporate experience, and then use these concepts to strengthen my coaching journey and coaching practice. I am also working toward my journey of mastery, for which I have already set myself a goal of achieving by 2024 at the latest.
What I found absolutely exciting as well as intriguing was the depth, the variety, and the dimensions that this course touches about who we are as a person. Beyond the cognitives, the emotions, and the learning aspect, this has been a profound journey of self-discovery. It is a journey where one learns about who we really are and the kind of layers we put around ourselves. After this journey, I feel lighter, I feel humbler, and I feel that this experience is going to set me on course for what perhaps is my life purpose—to be of value and service to others as a mission.
What I really like about Anil’s style is that he is very simple, straightforward, and knows exactly what the right mix of concepts and applications is. His choices are just right depending on the maturity and stage of awareness of a particular participant or student. At times, he even spoils you for choice in terms of techniques. You end up with an armory of ideas, which itself becomes a learning ground on how to be comfortable and how to switch between techniques as you build your flair and competence around coaching.
The simplicity of this NLP approach is that while the content in terms of constructs and concepts is more or less the same compared to other teachers, some of the frameworks—which are interchangeable—are absolutely profound. They are equally applicable to oneself, and when they are applicable to oneself, they bring what is known as authenticity and internal conviction. With that authenticity, conviction, and inner dialogue comes a lot of honesty and a natural awareness around using these tools. Whether it is financial mindset, relationship coaching, or high-performance team coaching, these concepts are very relatable. Beyond a certain level, you do not need to rehearse or force yourself to remember them—they naturally play out in your interactions.
I would certainly recommend these courses—in fact, any of Anil’s courses. I have been associated with him for about three to three and a half years, and these courses are worth their weight in gold. The returns one gets in terms of practice and profoundness far outweigh any measure. You cannot even place them on a scale in terms of the awareness, depth, and the dimensions of discovering a newer and better version of yourself, and making this planet a better place to be in. You also become a model of what you have learned in practice.
Thank you very much, Anil. Whatever I’ve shared is not sufficient to express the genuine honesty and effort you have put into inculcating these learnings. The best thing is that you yourself are an embodiment of what you teach—and that, I believe, is the biggest differentiator when it comes to choosing who one learns from.
Last but not least, one of the most unique and powerful differentiators of this learning journey is the diversity of people involved. Participants come from multiple geographies, different time zones, ages, experiences, lifestyles, and levels of knowledge. It brings a multicultural, multigenerational, multilingual perspective of how everything comes together into one smooth experience.
Thank you once again, and I also want to take this opportunity to thank each one of the participants for their value addition. It has been exciting, intriguing, and thrilling. I hope this association continues as all of us progress in our life goals and find our purposes with passion. Thank you very much.
